If you only need individual testing for FLU or STREP based on symptoms or previous test history, we have those options available for your selection as well. Tests are available every 20 minutes, schedule online using the link provided below.

Lake Country Compounding & Wellness is pleased to offer three different types of COVID tests, as well as a new combo COVID/FLU rapid test for mixed symptoms and individual testing for both FLU and STREP. For fast, easy, convenient COVID & COVID/FLU testing, or individual FLU or STREP testing, visit our local pharmacy at Harmony Medical Center in Eatonton, GA. We are neighbors who care about your health, your time, your travel requirement needs, and stopping the spread of COVID-19, FLU, and STREP. We are open from 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday, and available to schedule COVID testing from 930 am until 520pm Monday through Friday. Our Rapid PCR molecular test kit is an in vitro diagnostic test that has an analytical sensitivity, or ability to detect the SARS-CoV-2 virus, that is comparable to some of the best molecular tests performed in clinical settings and high complexity labs. This is our “COVID Molecular Diagnostic Test.” This is an actual rapid PCR test, with same day results. Our testing is scheduled online, at the link below. If you have trouble utilizing the online scheduling, please call the store and we can assist you in scheduling your test.

The Testing Types Available Are:

COVID Rapid PCR/Molecular Diagnostic Test

PCR is considered the “gold standard” for testing methods. If you are traveling or having surgery, you may need a PCR/Molecular Diagnostic test. Check with your destination, travel carrier, or surgery center to be sure. Some will accept an Antigen Test, which is slightly less expensive, so it's essential to find out prior to testing. If this is the test you need, continue reading. This test is a nasal swab (less invasive than a nasopharyngeal swab that is required for the antigen test), and the sample is processed in house at our Pharmacy. Results are available within 30 minutes. The cost is $169. Payment is collected at the time of test scheduling, or can be collected on site prior to testing (contact us at the store prior to booking if onsite payment method is needed). Additionally, you may submit to your insurance company to attempt reimbursement, as your invoice will contain all the billing codes and information you need.

  • Utilizes a nasal swab
  • Patient can submit paperwork to insurance company for reimbursement
  • May be reimbursed by your medical insurance plan, reimbursement amount varies depending on your individual plan
  • PCR/Molecular Diagnostic test with laboratory accuracy.
  • 30 minute turnaround time
  • AKA Molecular Diagnostic Test

Pros: The Gold Standard Test for active diagnosis, accepted by most foreign countries, surgery centers, travel carriers, etc. PCR Accuracy with 30 minute turnaround, most accurate testing method available currently

It's possible never to show symptoms of COVID and have antibodies present. Many have also elected to take an antibody test 2 weeks after they receive their final COVID Vaccine as a reassurance of proper antibody development. The cost of the Antibody Test is $89.
